President and Chief Banking Officer

Richard Bradshaw serves as President and Chief Banking Officer for United Community. In this role, he leads the bank’s diverse commercial and retail lines of business. He is also responsible for United’s mortgage division and oversees more than 200 branches across the six-state footprint.

Bradshaw brings more than 30 years of banking industry experience to his role at United Community. Prior to this position, he served as the Head of SBA Programs at TD Bank and led the bank to become the 8th largest SBA lender in the United States. He previously served as President at UPS Capital Business.

Bradshaw is a retired commander from the US Naval Reserve Intelligence Program and served five years of active duty as a captain in the US Air Force. He graduated from the US Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science in management and holds a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University.

Bradshaw and his wife, Stacey, live in Greenville, SC, and have three adult children and six grandchildren. He currently serves on the board of the Greenville Community Foundation. He has previously served as President of the Board of Directors for the Greenville Symphony Orchestra and Greenville Literacy Association. He also served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL).
