ITEM 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure
     On April 10, 2007, United Community Banks, Inc. (“United”) presented at the SunTrust Robinson Humphrey 36th Annual Institutional Conference. In connection with the investor presentation, United reaffirmed its previously announced guidance on earnings per share growth within the long-term range of 12% to 15%, but at the lower end of that range. In addition, United updated its guidance on core loan growth for the remainder of 2007 to within a range of 6% to 10% from 10% to 14% and maintained guidance that its margin will stabilize at the 4% level.
